What Sets Cloverdale Apart
What sets Cloverdale apart?
Experienced, Long-tenured Teachers
Our close-knit, collaborative team, made up of Montessori-certified teachers and assistant teachers with decades of experience, delivers an authentic Montessori experience. With an exceptional teacher-to-student ratio, each child receives generous attention and personalized guidance.
Quality Montessori Program
Our authentic Montessori program nurtures the whole child through four key areas: language, math, sensorial, and practical life, and includes science, culture, geography, and fine arts. Our carefully prepared classrooms feature quality materials that inspire curiosity, independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning through hands-on discovery.
A Community for Families
We’re more than a school—we’re a family. Throughout the year, families come together for events like our International Potluck Picnic, Family Day at the Farm, Christmas Program, Muffins with Mom, End-of-Year Program and Graduation, Zoo Field Trip, and Hot Dogs with Dad picnic, creating lasting memories and celebrating the joy of learning together.
Value
Cloverdale Montessori School is one of the most affordable Montessori programs in the Treasure Valley, with weekly Spanish and music lessons included in tuition. Families can also choose half-day or four-day options, with or without lunch and outdoor recess, making a high-quality, enriching Montessori experience accessible and flexible. Our program runs year-round with optional summer months.
Guiding Kind Hearts and Minds
We nurture social and emotional growth by teaching empathy, courtesy, and the golden rule. Our teachers help children use their words, understand their feelings, and manage emotions, building confidence, strong relationships, and a lifelong foundation of kindness and respect.
Enrichment
Weekly Spanish and music lessons by Musical Kids, give our children opportunities to explore language, rhythm, and creativity in engaging ways. Students can also participate in optional weekly dance and gymnastics classes. Our program includes fun, hands-on art projects, where they discover the works of famous artists and classical musicians, bringing creativity and culture to life.
A Nurturing Home Environment
Housed in a converted home, our two main classrooms—upstairs and downstairs—are divided into smaller groups during work periods, creating a smaller, intimate learning environment. Here, there’s no corporate feel—just a comfortable, family-like community where children thrive.
An Acre for Adventure
Our expansive backyard is a true haven for exploration and play. Children can run freely, climb on playground equipment, dig and plant in the garden, and discover the wonders of the natural world. This outdoor space encourages curiosity, physical activity, and hands-on learning, giving every child the freedom to move, explore, and grow in a safe and inspiring environment.

Authentic Montessori Approach
The Montessori approach offers our children an extraordinary foundation for learning, combining structure with freedom to explore. Math and reading skills gained through this approach are exceptional. Through hands-on discovery and independent exploration, students develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a love of learning. This approach nurtures curiosity, fosters confidence, and encourages children to take ownership of their learning, allowing them to grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a supportive, engaging environment.
